How do you plan your custom computer builds?

I use the free website pcpartpicker to plan my customers computer builds. Including home workstations, gaming computers, and small scale servers. the cost of the build at MSRP listed at the bottom of the page is what I base the total price of my services. So you pay no additional costs besides the price of the parts for your build.

Why don’t you offer a subscription to make a website?

Most websites are hosted by third party companies that charge a subscription costs. Self-Hosting is where you own your website on your own hardware. It is much more affordable in the long term as once you have bought your hardware and set up your site, it is completely free to keep it up and running for as long as you want. Subscriptions aren’t necessary as everything I run is free and open source. I only charge small one time fees for repairs / upgrades should you need any.

What kind of security will my server / website have?

I equip all servers and websites that I build with modern highly secure systems including Fail2Ban, Authelia, and Nginx. I also secure websites and Internet connected servers with SSL encryption using Let’s Encrypt.
